We made a move from Oregon to Texas and absolutely loved working with Upack. The constant communication via text was greatly appreciated. I also liked that I could call at any time to check on the route of our truck. I think the trick is to hire a moving company to simply pack the truck for you. In doing this ourselves, we saved 4 feet of space (they paid for themselves and then some) and only lost a very poorly made bookshelf in the move. Don't expect this to be the same as renting a uhaul to move across town, this is a much bigger process. Pack your boxes tight so they have no give, this will prevent them from smashing. Pack the truck in walls and all the way to the top, use the tie downs. Give the truck the entire time they request to get to your destination to avoid waiting for it to arrive. Overall, upack was a great experience! Communication is very important to me and they went above and beyond in that way. Thank you for a great moving experience!
