Texas Remained popular for inbound moves in 2009
For the third year in a row, the U-Pack 2009 moving trends report showed that more people moved to Texas than any other state. What other trends did we find? Check out the notable findings below and read the entire report for details:
- Texas had the most cities on the list of top destinations for long-distance moves: Beaumont, Waco, Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, San Antonio, Wichita Falls and Corpus Christi
- February was the least popular month for moves, with June being most popular
- Norfolk, VA; Green Bay, WI; and St. Louis, MO all had balanced percentages of inbound and outbound moves
