Like Charlotte, Jacksonville experiences hot, humid summers and mild winters. You’ll feel familiar summer highs in the low 90s and lows in the 70s.  

Jacksonville receives an average of around 50 inches of rainfall annually, compared to 43 inches in Charlotte. Snow is extremely rare in Jacksonville, with average winter lows around 44 degrees. The last recorded winter precipitation was on December 23, 1989. Charlotte typically receives an average of 2 inches of snow per year, with average winter low temperatures hovering just below freezing.
