I thoroughly researched my move from New York York Florida...or at least I thought I did! I scouted out my new apartment on a trip to Florida in August, set the date for my move six weeks later, researched the size and cost of a moving pod with Uhaul and U~Pack, and decided U~Pack was the most economic way to go. I came home and sold my furniture and excess personal belongings with the understanding that everything I wanted to take with me had to fit in a 7x7x7 Pod. September 27th was confirmed as the move date and Sept 24th would be the date U~Pack came would drop off my pod. Imaging my surprise when a semi with ABF Freight on the side came pulling up to the front door to drop off a 28 foot trailer! I told the driver there must've been some mistake and asked if the pod was inside the trailer. This patient sweetheart of a driver explained that my bill of lading indicated that I'd contracted for 7 feet of space in a 28 foot trailer instead of a ReloCube, (a term I'd never even encountered when setting up the move!) and I had 3 days to load it. To make a long story short, the heavens opened up and smiled on me. I was able to get the keys to my apartment on Friday September 29 (instead of Oct 14 as originally planned) and my trailer came promptly on Monday, October 2nd! A little mix up occurred with the address which I'd changed just before leaving NY, but no biggie...within 1/2 hour a lovely "Jersey Boy" as he called himself, delivered all my worldly goods to my new front door! Thank you U~Pack!🤗 I would definitely recommend your company to anyone making a long distance move

This is the only way to move! They did exactly what was promised. The trailer was delivered on time. We had it loaded that day. We called and asked them to pick up on a Friday. They said they could not guarantee the Friday pick up, but it would definitely be picked up on Saturday. It was. We knew exactly where the truck was from the moment they picked it up to the moment they dropped it at our new home. We unloaded the truck within 5 hours of the drop off. Price was amazing compared to the Pod. Pod wanted almost $4,000 - Not UPack! Thank you for taking a major stress out of the move.

I wrote this for the origination terminal so I'll modify it slightly for the destination terminal -- Hands down the best moving experience I have ever had! It was so easy that at one point I called just to ask if I was missing something -- too easy and too economical! From the customer service/sales folks who organize the big details to the local terminal workers who help you sweat the small stuff (drop off times, location, etc.) things went like clockwork. Big shout out to Barb in Eagan who wor...  See Moreked with me to find the best time to drop it at my storage facility and graciously agreed to make the driver juggle the access code on his own so I wouldn't have to be there when they came to take the empty truck away. I wish I knew the name of the driver who delivered the truck to the Rosemont Public Storage because he rocked! He took the time to place the trailer in the sweet spot for door access and even walked us thru the safest and easiest way to wrestle the folding ramp. If we ever move again, this company will be my only call. Although you are responsible for loading/unloading, I believe they'll also shoot you the names of companies who will do this for you. Thanks for taking all the stress away and for saving us hundreds on gas and tolls.
