They care more about the bottom line than people. It is sad to see yet another company now down to the dollar. Do not use if anything happens and you are unconvinced because of their mistake they won’t fix it.
5 miles and Not meeting minimum mileage. What a bs. In the commercial it clear said move anywhere like across the street
This company sucks. I reserved a trailer between noon and 4. Guys shows up late. Guy is super rude and won't put the trailer where I ask him to put it bc he says he can't do it. It wasn't a small space. Just an a**hole in a hurry behind on his route. Anyways, glad I didn't give them a chance to brake my stuff.
If I could give a minus 10 I would! They broke all my things!!! I moved from CA to OR and not only it took over a week to get my truck, but when I opened it... I found my things a mess. We packed it tightly and secured everything, it should have been an easy move. Instead, my dresser and tv ruined! Glassware squished... And so on! Besides the fact they were expensive, it's ridiculous that they broke my stuff! The truck looked like it had fallen off an airplane! A disaster. NEVER USING THEM AGAIN!!!
It has been 9 days since they picked up my trailer in California and still has not been delivered. Worst idea ever to use Upack!!
I am very disappointed with this move from NY to AZ. We were scheduled for pick up between 8am-4pm (which is a large window in itself). By 6pm, I had to call to see where the driver was, as we had been outside waiting in the cold with no power. The dispatcher realized that no one had been dispatched. Total nightmare... never use them again. They wouldn't deliver to my final destination. Had to back out of a lease, lose my deposit and find another place to live.
Terrible, terrible, terrible. They lost my shipping container for over a month when moving from FL to CO. Had to go without essential belongings for 30 days. Do your job next time! Rent a Uhaul and move your own items. Avoid this company like the plague.
UPack is literally the worst business I have ever dealt with. Our truck showed up 6 days late after already having 8 days to make the trip (that's two weeks total, for those of you keeping score at home). Half of our things were soaking wet, and our bed frame was broken. There was zero remorse, and not even a hint at offering us any sort of refund or even partial money back.
I am a disabled woman with a friend who has been waiting for my cube since yesterday. The storage facility I am waiting at closes at seven and now they tell me that I have to wait another 45 mins. for my cube to arrive. I am going to have to stay with my belongings overnight in the parking lot in a strange city because two women cannot possibly unload a cube and fill the storage unit before closing. I am beside myself and so sorry that I went with this company. The Wisconsin end was fine. The Brooklyn side is rude, ill-informed, and one star is way too high for them.
I have a friend who has his belongings currently held hostage. He has given payment plans which would clear debt in 3 weeks, but they want to rack up the $500/month rental fees. Once we get him out of this, then you will become a target for me.
This company is a joke. They dropped off the trailer across the street and left it hanging out into the street by three feet. After contact the company multiple times about the trailer being in the road and needing to be moved with no success I wanted to share their stupidity. When someone gets killed from hitting this thing in the middle of the night I will make sure their lawyer has all the info I left about requesting this to be moved.
I recently used U-Pack to move based on some [bad] advice from my realtor. I have to say it has been the most frustrating, discouraging, and most expensive move of my life. When I opened up the trailer, my belongings were in a pile. I took pictures of my damaged belongings and attempted to fill out a claim on their website. The website site locked up on me. Will never use them again. Pissed off the fact that they cannot pick the trailer up the same day. Now I have to unload the truck from the front office to my apartment . I would give y'all a zero star for sure. I'm paying 2,000 dollar to do your job and can't pick up my trailer the same day..
I thought I was being smart using U Pack on my cross country move from South Carolina to California. I didn't want to drive a uhaul for five days and 3k miles, and U Pack's pricing was fair. We loaded our entire house into a budget rental truck, and drove it to the ABF freight center where we then packed it into their trailer. We packed meticulously. We moved from Seattle to Las Vegas. Everyone I spoke to, everyone I had personal contact with was polite and very helpful. The move was emotional but it went very smooth. A big thank you to Upack and ABF.
I was supposed to have 2 pods dropped off at my apartment between 4-8pm. It is now 930pm and no pods have been delivered. On top of that they did not organize the drop offs properly and there for have no pods for me to load. If you are trying to compete with Uhaul's pods then you need to be better organized then this. Terrible experience.
